We booked Alexandra because they were the only cruise operator that offered hotel pickup and allowed to select either upper and lower deck when booking. After reading other reviews we decided that we wanted to be on the upper deck to see the show and surroundings. When we arrived at the cruise we realized that sitting outside in July was not such a good idea and promptly requested to move to the lower deck. The show started on the upper deck and then was repeated on the lower deck and we could go to the upper deck to take pictures at any time. The upper deck is more for partying; there was music and people dancing there all the time. The lower deck is quiet but comfortable because of AC. The food (which was just OK) is the same on both decks. Their service is excellent from the well organized hotel transfers to onboard experience. Our server, Nahim, was were nice and accommodating.
